Taking a Break From All My WorriesShawn Drotar

It happens every once in a blue moon - I eventually decide to separate myself from my computer and take a vacation.

This week, with gamers of all stripes ready to fire up their consoles for blockbusters like Mario Kart Wii and Grand Theft Auto IV, it’s likely that many of 5WG’s readers would rather be playing games instead of reading about them; so with that in mind, it seems like as good a time to take a little break as any.

I’ll be back on Monday, May 5th with recharged batteries, and in the meantime, I’ll try to remind myself that time’s not catching up with me.

Wow, I’m not a hardcore gamer anymore based on that link. Although I pretty much knew that already. The facts have been there for awhile, I’m less and less inclined to want to play online, especially with sports games. I just want to play and have fun anymore. I think that’s why I’ve had more fun with the PS3 and Wii over the last 2 months than I have had with the 360 since I got it.

Have a good break Shawn, God knows we all need it.

Oh, and Mario Kart Wii is flippin’ fantastic!
